Non-Shopify installation

Pick one of the two options below — either paste the script directly into your header or ship it through Google Tag Manager, not both. The script tag itself will be provided by your Unveild POC. End-to-end, this should take about 3 minutes.

Option 1 — Install directly in the site header​

  1. Paste the Unveild script tag (provided by your Unveild POC) into the <head> of every page.
  2. Ensure the header script is present on every page in your sitemap.
Verify the install

Open the browser console on any page and confirm that Unveild: IIFE Script loaded appears. It should be present on every page.

Option 2 — Install via Google Tag Manager​

  1. Log in to your Google Tag Manager account.
  2. Click New Tag.
  3. Name the tag Unveild Pixel.
  4. Click Tag Configuration and select Custom HTML.
  5. Paste the Unveild script tag into the HTML input box.
  6. Scroll down to Triggering and select All Pages.
  7. Click Save.
  8. In the top-right of the GTM home page, click Submit.
  9. Add a version name, then click Publish.
On Shopify?

If your storefront runs on Shopify, follow the Shopify install instead — it uses the Unveild Shopify app or theme.liquid.
