Shopify installation

Pick one of the two options below — either the Shopify app or the manual theme.liquid install, not both. End-to-end, this should take about 3 minutes.

After you finish, contact your Unveild POC. They will verify that data is flowing correctly within 24 hours.

Option 1 — Install the Unveild Shopify app (recommended)​

No code edits. Your Unveild POC will provide the install link.

  1. Click the install link (provided by your Unveild POC).
  2. After you click Install, you'll be redirected to your live theme's editor screen.
  3. In the left panel, toggle the Unveild App Embed on.
  4. Click Save in the top-right corner.

Option 2 — Install the Unveild script in theme.liquid​

Use this path if you'd rather paste the tag manually. The script tag itself will be provided by your Unveild POC.

  1. Open the Shopify Admin Panel.
  2. Navigate to Online Store → Themes.
  3. Click the ⋯ (three dots) next to the Customise button, then click Edit code.
  4. In the left-hand panel, open </> theme.liquid.
  5. Paste the Unveild script at the end of the <head> tag.
  6. Save and refresh the storefront.
Verify the install

Open the browser console on any storefront page and confirm that Unveild: IIFE Script loaded appears. It should be present on every page in your sitemap.

Not on Shopify?

For non-Shopify stores, use the direct script or GTM install instead.
